  • Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk:
   
The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk delivers a winning combination of modern thrill rides and historic attractions. From the 125-foot Double Shot tower to the classic Giant Dipper roller coaster, there’s something for everyone at California’s only seaside amusement park. The admission-free park features 35 rides and attractions plus games, restaurants, miniature golf, arcades, and free summer beach concerts. Award-winning game arcades and a bowling alley open every day, year round.  
  • Municipal Wharf:
   
Jutting half a mile into the ocean near one end of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf is topped with seafood restaurants; souvenir shops; and outfitters offering bay cruises, fishing trips, and boat rentals. A salty sound track drifts up from under the wharf, where barking sea lions lounge in heaps on crossbeams.  
  • Lighthouse Point:
   
The lighthouse contains a surfing museum. It is also the site of Steamers Lane, the country’s most famous surf spot, and Seal Rock.  
  • Natural Bridges State Beach:
   
At the end of West Cliff Drive, you will find the home of monarch butterflies. Additionally, you will find a picturesque rock bridge, which has been partially destroyed by the pounding surf. There are interesting tide pools at the far end of the beach. Call 831-423-4609 for more information.  
  • Downtown Santa Cruz:
   
Pacific Avenue is the heart and spirit of Santa Cruz. Boutiques, sidewalk cafes, galleries, cinemas, nightlife and festivals all abound.  
  • Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park:
   
This includes the oldest building in Santa Cruz County, a replica of the original Spanish mission and a museum. It is located at 144 School Street. Call 831-425-5849 for more information.
